Hiiii! (oink!) . Shout out to the newest follower we love you! Just wanted to pop off here and talk some shit around pigsounds. I am currently living in Detroit! and working at 101.9 WDET FM learning mainly about Production and Promotion and Podcasts! I want to flesh out that part of pigsounds more like being able to help artists promote their new materials and provide interviews/context to their work. i keep forgetting that I am also a musician. I can get so caught up in all of this frustrating shit that comes with trying to help manage bands, mix others music and create this promo content that I forget how that shit TAKES A LOAD OFF (like The Band song) I just listened to all of the StellaBlack discography and wow that really cleaned and reset my soul (drop a heart if u love BP) I have a few more demos finsished up but I would rather artists be able to use them as a jumping off point and make the song into their own. In talks with the older producer generation it seems that “building tracks” or like giving a song to artists is fake and stuff but I would argue that it challenges the artist to stand out more when making the song their own.
