in case you were wondering…
the reason pigSounds Radio has halted is due to my rebellious tendencies and copyright law. pigSounds is by no means large enough for anyone to really give a shit but the way I was curating the radio shows was not appreciated by Spotify. I fully understood that this roadblock would be met, and absolutely enjoyed “pulling a fast one” on Spotify.
in so many words, pigSounds Radio will no longer be on Spotify and rather on this site! I have been feverishly practicing my DJ skills and am excited to upload more shows with cool peoples
some things to look forward to this year, a new The MoonWater Club album “Freeway Apophenia” out 3/15, accompanied by 5+ videos, live performances and eventually a mockumentary set in the year 2050. Also a new EP from Eggenberg that was mixed by pigSounds including more mixing projects yet to be announced; continuation with current clients (Authentically Detroit, Masha Marjieh). pigSounds will also be extending it’s hooves into the event industry as a pathways to operating a physical community recording space by 2030.
in addition to services, pigSounds will be expanding into the “physical goods” sector, with custom record crates, merch and audio gear.
pigSounds is expanding and looking for more partners to utilize the company to benefit art and their own lives. Please reach out via comments or contact page if you are interested in any capacity. In the words of Rath “the sauce”, the world is not going to wait, and I feel like current American culture could benefit from more art.
