“Apophenia is the tendency to perceive meaningful connections between unrelated things. Unmotivated seeing of connections [accompanied by] a specific feeling of abnormal meaningfulness”
The fourth MoonWater Club album is here!
I’m very nervous but also excited to release this album. Working on this album for the past couple years has been an absolute joy and contributed to the delay of release! I just liked working on it! I urge you to find connections and meaning where there is not!
This project is the tenth album I have produced, it is the most “meat and potatoes” project by TMWC, no interludes, little voice overs, and all of the sings were written and can be played back live on guitar. If you have been following The Club you would know that this is a big departure from the aesthetics of the previous three albums.
I would like to highlight all of my friends around the country near and far who brought me out, drove with me on all of the freeways. They contributed to the experiences and settings that generated this music. I also appreciate all the not so cool people I encountered and of course the crumbling infrastructure of the American freeway system for inspiring me!
More music videos and live performances soon! And then a whole reworked album by the 21st of May.
